Licences and Device Limits
Licence keys control how many devices can run the Pyvorin CLI under your subscription. Finding your licence keyVisit Licence Keys in the Portal. Keys are masked by default; use the reveal action to see the full key when activating a new device. Device limitsEach licence key has a device limit set by your plan. You can see active devices and revoke unused ones from the licence detail page. Revoking a deviceOpen the licence key detail page.Find the device in the active devices list.Click Revoke.The device token becomes invalid immediately. Rotating a keyUse the Rotate action to replace a licence key. The new plaintext key is shown once; save it securely. Disabled or expired keysA disabled key cannot activate new devices. An expired key stops working at the expiry timestamp. Renew or upgrade your subscription to restore access.

Licence Key Not Working
If a licence key fails to activate, check the following: The key is entered correctly, including dashes.The key has not expired or been disabled.You have not reached the device limit.Your account subscription is active. Run pyvorin auth status and open a support ticket if the problem persists.

Device Limit Reached
Each licence key allows a fixed number of active devices. If you reach the limit, new activations fail. Revoke unused devices from the Licences page, or upgrade to a plan with a higher device limit. Revocation takes effect immediately.

Revoking Devices
Revoke a device when you no longer want it to use your licence. Open the licence key detail page.Find the device in the active devices list.Click Revoke. The device token becomes invalid immediately. The CLI on that device must re-authenticate before compiling.

Rotating Keys
Rotating a licence key replaces it with a new key. This is useful if you suspect a key was leaked. Open the licence key detail page.Click Rotate.Copy the new plaintext key and update your devices. Old device tokens remain valid until revoked. You can revoke devices associated with the old key separately.

Expired Licence
An expired licence key stops activating new devices and may prevent compiles. Renew or upgrade your subscription from the Subscription page. After renewal, existing activated devices may need to refresh their tokens with pyvorin auth refresh.
