Operational draft
This page is an operational draft prepared for the Pyvorin staging pilot. It does not constitute final legal advice and has not been approved by a solicitor. These terms must be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before wider public launch or before entering into any enterprise contract.
This Data Processing page describes how Pyvorin Portal and the Pyvorin compiler platform handle customer data, including diagnostic logs, processor responsibilities and retention. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Roles
For personal data processed through the Service, Pyvorin acts as a data controller in respect of account, billing and usage data. Where you upload personal data of your end users or employees, you are the data controller and we act as a data processor, processing that data only on your documented instructions.
2. Data we process
We process account information, billing details, usage data, source code and files submitted for compilation, diagnostic logs, and technical metadata such as IP addresses and request identifiers. We do not use source code or customer content to train machine-learning models unless you expressly opt in.
3. Diagnostic logs
We collect diagnostic logs to operate, debug and secure the compiler platform. Logs may include error messages, build identifiers, timestamps, resource usage and truncated request data. Logs are retained only for as long as necessary for their purpose, typically no longer than 90 days unless extended for security investigations or legal obligations.
4. Subprocessors
We use carefully selected subprocessors to host, secure and operate the platform. A current list is maintained on our Subprocessors page.
5. Security measures
We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect customer data, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging and regular backups. Further detail is available in our Security page.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain customer data for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@pyvorin.com, subject to legal retention requirements.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that you have lawful grounds to upload and process any personal data through the Service, for complying with data-subject requests relating to data you control, and for configuring retention and access controls appropriately.
8. International transfers
Data is primarily hosted in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area. Transfers outside these areas are made using appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
